Chili’s Give Back Night
Chili’s is proud to support the communities in which we operate. The Give Back Night program is another way to be involved in the community and to support Georgia Association of the Deaf!
What is a Give Back Night?
A Chili’s Give Back Night is a fundraiser where Chili’s “gives back” to not-for-profit organizations. The fundraising event takes place at a local Chili’s restaurant (Chili’s in Toco Hills, 2133 Lavista Road Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30329) on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 6pm. The benefiting organization will promote the Give Back Night to community members. The organization will receive 10% of the sales (excluding tax and gratuity) from the organization’s guests when the event voucher is presented.

Gino Gouby, CDI & CLIP-R will present a full 16-workshop over the course of the weekend.
There will be an 8-hour overview of the NADRID Code of Professional Conduct which will focus on interpreter ethics. The next 8-hours will focus on the four domains; professional role and responsibilities of an RID Certified CDI, how a CDI prepares for interpreting assignments, interpreting settings and the challenges that CDIs can typically encounter, and how a CDI can effectively debrief following the assignment with a team member, and/or consumers involved.
GAD wishes to thank to sponsors who supported this important event.
